March Update

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I updated everyone on this site what has been going on with me, so this post will serve as an update.

First Music Performance

During this past month, I was able to perform the song I composed for Sea Burst, live on stage! It was an interesting experience, and one I did not expect to happen, but I’m glad I participated otherwise. Here is the full video of the performance!

I performed this piece during the open mic session for the Richmond Synthesizer Collective. I’ve been participating with this lovely group of folks for a couple of months now, and it’s been fantastic! I am always inspired whenever I meetup with these talented electronic musicians and I always learn something new.

For this performance, I refurbished my over 10 year old laptop with some new components, installed WIN 11, and loaded my project files on the computer. I did a bit of live looping recording to get the piece started, and then I improvised on top of that with my Rock Band 3 keyboard MIDI controller. I love using that particular controller because it has all the MIDI controls you’d want, while also being incredibly small and portable.

If anyone is in the Richmond area and you see me with the collective, make sure to come up to me and say hello! I’d love to talk to as many folks about electronic music!

Future Projects

This past month has been pretty slow for me projects wise. I’ve mainly been focusing on other, non music related goals. However, next month I have a couple of big audio projects in the works. The first one being towards the beginning of April with the Ludum Dare 57 game jam. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on this site, because you know I will tell you all about that!

That’s pretty much it for now. I really didn’t have too much to say here this time, but I felt it was important to keep everyone updated on what’s going on. As always, if you need to reach out to me for any reason, please comment below of find my contact form in the about me section. I am also available on Bluesky if you want to get a little more casual.

See you guys in the next post!
